How to write a haiku

A Haiku is a short Japanese poem used to evoke images. Its a 5-7-5 poetic style.

Let’s start out by picking a time or year, time of day or setting (e.g. summer, morning, beach)

Next we can do an adjective to describe that time or place (e.g. sunny, pleasant)

And then two singular nouns that you would not usually expect to find in the same sentence (e.g. frog, chocolate)

Another adjective (e.g. little, hairy)

A verb (e.g. sings, runs)

And finally, let’s pick your pen name.
